Aquaventure: the giant of the Palm
This is Dubai's largest water park, known for its slide towers, lazy rivers, its long family slide-roller coaster and spectacular rides like the Leap of Faith and the Odyssey of Terror. Access to a private beach of about one kilometer and to marine experiences makes it a real vacation day.
The Aquaventure price is 295 AED (ages 3 to 7) and 345 AED (age 8 and over). The Aquaventure + Lost World combo is 320 AED and 370 AED. Free for children under 3. Book on the Aquaventure page.
Wild Wadi: the compact family park
A stone's throw from the Burj Al Arab, Wild Wadi offers around thirty rides, including the famous free-fall slide Jumeirah Sceirah. There are plenty of kids' areas and the park's reasonable size avoids long walks. It is the right option for a half-day or a relaxed day with little ones.
Yas Waterworld: the alternative in Abu Dhabi
If your stay includes Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld is an excellent choice. You can combine it with Ferrari World or Warner Bros. for a day on Yas Island: see our Yas Island 2-park offers.
Other options for kids
For the youngest, the Legoland Water Park is perfect for roughly ages 2 to 12. Find all our parks on the Parks & water parks page.
Our tips for the day
- Arrive at opening time: queues are shorter in the morning on the big slides.
- Suitable swimwear: some slides require a classic swimsuit, no loose clothing.
- Lockers, towels, meals: often paid extras in the parks. Find out before you arrive.
- Waterproof sunscreen, sunglasses and water shoes to protect your feet from the hot ground.
- Hydration: drink regularly, the heat is felt even in the water.
- Just one park per day: the program is busy enough that this is the right approach.

In practice, no: each park deserves a full day, especially Aquaventure. It is better to spread the parks over different days.
Which water park for children under 8?
Wild Wadi, with its areas suited to little ones, works very well. Aquaventure also has large kids' areas, but the day is longer and more tiring for toddlers.
What is the Aquaventure price?
The Aquaventure price is 295 AED (ages 3 to 7) and 345 AED (age 8 and over). The Aquaventure + Lost World combo is 320 AED and 370 AED. Free for children under 3. The current price is always shown on the Aquaventure page.
